[Rwp] Introduction and Presets

So I think I managed to activate the open button. It finally said expanded.
However, when I press nvda 6 it says window window window for every six I
press, until it takes me right out of the dialogue. Which window do I want?
Or am I doing it wrong? It doesn't say anything about a list. I'm running
4.77,
Thanks a lot for your reply,
Justin

That preset combo box is a disaster. Basically, the cursor can't land on the
headings in that combo box, but instead of just skipping them, it literally
refuses to move there, which also means you can't move past.
I just now tested this in REAPER 5pre22 and this seems to have been
partially fixed; the cursor can now land on those headings. However, it
still doesn't seem to let me get to certain presets in certain plug-ins.
You can work around this using something like the following ugliness.
Note that these are desktop layout commands.
1. Tab to the combo box.
2. Using NVDA object navigation, move inside the combo box (NVDA+numpad2).
3. Move next (NVDA+numpad6) until you get to the Open button.
4. Activate that button (NVDA+numpadEnter).
5. Next again (NVDA+numpad6). You will hit a list.
6. Move inside the list (NVDA+numpad2).
7. Next until you find the preset you want.
8. Set focus to it with NVDA+shift+numpadMinus.
9. Press enter to accept the change.
I think I know of a way I can hack this combo box to work properly from
within OSARA when I have time. We'll see.
Hope this helps,
Jamie
