I haven’t worked with track groups yet so i can’t say how to group tracks. However with ReaConsole you can just solo and unsold a group of tracks easily. for example if the drums are tracks 1 through 10 simply typing “O1-10” into the dialog ad pressing return would solo only tracks 1 through 10. Uppercase letters tell it to force that action for only those tracks you list and toggle it off for any tracks may have it already on, the letter o denotes you want it to perform a solo action, and 1-10 are the list of tracks you want the action in this case solo performed on. You can selectively solo guitars or any combination of guitars and drums or etc in this manner as well. The Reaconsole section of the SWS manual is required reading if you plan to master it.
As for tracks I rarely record stereo sources so i can’t remember off hand how to use it to set stereo sources so once a gain consult the manual.

If I wanted to hear only the tracks on these two groups, how could I do this using Reaper4 and preferably reaConsole? Also, in Reaper4 whenever I create a new track that defaults to mono, how do I tell Reaper I want the track to be stereo using ReaConsole?
