[Rwp] Question about groups in Reaper4

Hi list,
So, I have a project that has two groups, one group should have only 
guitar tracks on it. The other group is supposed to have nothing on it 
except drums. If I wanted to hear only the tracks on these two groups, 
how could I do this using Reaper4 and preferably reaConsole? Also, in 
Reaper4 whenever I create a new track that defaults to mono, how do I 
tell Reaper I want the track to be stereo using ReaConsole?
