As I understand it, there was some discussion with Serotek about 
implementing MSAA. I suspect Cockos then went ahead and tried to make it 
accessible on Mac as well.

The question is what is currently lacking. As I understand it from 
discussions here, the controls that *are* exposed already work fairly 
well (barring VoiceOver performance issues). Of course, there is a whole 
lot of controls that aren't exposed, but that's not due to bugs in the 
wrapper; they are different widgets not covered by said wrapper.
