[Rwp] a fun Reaper crashing experience

Hi & Greetings from The Sunburnt Country
I have only been using REAPER for about 2 and a half years, and the crashes
are very few and far between.
One thing I have noticed is that Dimension Pro takes an inordinate amount of
time to load, and if for some reason I touch the keyboard or Alt Tab away to
look at something else while it is loading, it will invariably Crash.
I have to be very patient and wait for it to load completely, and then all
seems to be well.
I must say I am not a power user of Dimension Pro, but once having the
Programmes List open it works just as well as it did in Sonar.
If anything comes to light in the very near future, I certainly will
post...:)
Kind regards
David P Shortland

That suggests a bug in REAPER's plugin bridging/firewalling. As I
understand it, one of the major advantages of running plugins in a
separate process (apart from the ability to cross 32 bit/64 bit
boundaries) is that a crash in a plugin shouldn't take the whole DAW
down. REAPER should detect the crash and restart it or similar.
