[Rwp] a fun Reaper crashing experience

Yep. First thing I tried. I then made a new project copying tracks from 
the old one, just to see if it was something in that project's 
properties that broke somewhere.
I've definitely seen some weirdness with peaks before, but in this case, 
not so much, it seems.
