While i disagree n it being inefficient on the mac side (then again i am a purely audio person and don’t mess with midi) I would love to see further development on this plug in. If I could contribute financially to your puttingg aside a block of tie toto do some work on the plug in, let me know. I am digging its useful ness so far.

THis is why both Windows and Mac version do need enhancements in order to to be comparable to something like Sonar with either JSonar or Caketalking scripts.

Yes. I was able to increment and decrement the slider with absolutely no issue at all.

>> The only querk so far I have seen is when you get to the text box for the track name, you can't just start typing the name into it. Routing the mouse then doing vo+shift+space to literally click doesn't work either. The trick is, when you get to the text field, hit vo+space. Then, you'll hear Voiceover say, "Double click name." Then, you type the name of the track, then hit return to apply the change.

>> Aside this though, I haven't yet found anything not to work. Granted, I've not really opened much of anything in it, or played much yet with it on the mac side, but from what very little I can see on the outer core of things, it looks extremely doable!

>> Hey, do we actually have another e-mail list for the discussion of Reaper with Voiceover on the Mac? If we don't, and you all are at all interested, I'd be more! than willing to set up a list for this purpose through my hosting provider.
>>
>> You guys just let me know if you'd like me to proceed with setting it up. It probably wouldn't take me but about 30 minutes at most to create the list, and get it all configured on the back admin end, so it's totally totally conveniently something I can do, and am extremely willing to do. You all just let me know.

I ask because I realised the other day that the base accessibility code for the UI toolkit REAPER uses for these controls is actually open source. I took a look at the code and, like on Windows, I couldn't see any code for making adjusting these controls accessible, even though it does indeed make the values readible. Of course, I could just be missing something, hence my curiosity...

>>> Guys, I'm going to keep this e-mail, unlike my normal nature, very terse, and incredibly short/sweet to the point, as it probably won't effect a lot of you. It's Reaper related yes, but only somewhat indirectly. I think though you should read this. If it's over 2 paragraphs long, I'll vbe shocked, so just go ahead and read it. I think you'll be glad that you did.

>>> Folks? I? am! blown away! It is flawless! I have yet to find a screen that doesn't read! All the buttons are seeming to be completely properly labeled, all the preferences screens read correctly, even the actions screen is totally! totally! accessible. These developers really! really! deserve a huge! amount of credit. This is wonderful! Cockos just gained even more! respect from me. Not that I didn't have it before, but now, I really! have very high hopes for this DAW! I know one thing: I definitely! am e-mailing their support and congratulating them on such a fantastically accessible recording sollution. This is absolutely awesome!
