[Rwp] Can I read input meters?

I have a quick question.
I am primarily a ProTools guy on the mac, however I am extraordinarily interested in learning more about Reaper in combination with Reaccess. So far, the things I've learned have proven to be so ridiculously logical, and easy for me to understand that I must say, I'm quite shocked!
Anyway, on to my question... In ProTools, one of the things that makes my recording workflow work as well as it does is the fact that I can read my input meters. As you probably know, you never want to record a track by coming in to start at a really hot signal level. If you do, you stand an extremely likely chance of clipping. I normally record vocals for example, around -12DB. My question is, is there a way with JAWS 15, or 16, I have access to both, that with Reaccess installed, I can get at those meters and read them on a track per track basis? I assume you can, but this would be a major! major! dealbreaker for me, most likely, if not.
Chris.
