Hey Scott?
I'm using auto-tune 6 in sonar.
I know you didn't ask about sonar, but I imagine the things that make it
work in sonar will extend to reaper also according to my experience with
reaper.
You do get exposed automatible parameters in the inspector, which
equates to reaper's plug-in parameters list, even though it's not
automatible it's still able to be manipulated, also with use of your
screen-reader cursor, mouse, etc, you can click things like key, scale,
and other
menu items on the native ui of auto-tune.
I have also used g-snap, and same deal there, you get exposed parms and
clickable text on the interface.
I like to use g-snap as a midi controled
correction, and in this way, I get pretty good results.
I have found though that auto-tune is best when you spend some time
doing automation, which is as close as it gets to us drawing curves in
the graph,
there are people starting to mess with melodyne now, and I think that
one is probably the best sounding, but auto-tune is a good compromise
with useability and quality.
