[RWP] automation and surround sound question

One thing I think we started poking into, but got sideTracked, was writing 
ReaScript python modules to make larger jumps in pan and volume in response 
to a single key stroke.
I'm still  not convinced that that can't be accomplished if any of us had 
the time to focus on it.  A set of hot keys that would move in 1DB 
increments would be a lok more usable for automation.  But, as of now,  it's 
not a reality.
