[RWP] automation and surround sound question

It would be cool if there would be an action or series of actions, where 
you could make a selection, and define values which you want to reach by 
the end of the selection.
For example, having the ability to select 5 seconds of audio, and within 
that 5 seconds, have the audio pan to a specific part of the audio spectrum
