Hey Jim,
Nectar was ok. I can't remember the exact jiggery-pokery it required
off the top of my head, but I was able to get basic stuff done. In the
end I tracked down a version of Autotune Evo that revealed most of
the parameters I needed (key and scale) running in bridge mode, and
the rest via the automatable controls access with Shift+P (vibrato,
humanise etc). To me, it sounded better than Nectar with minimal
tweaking, and since I don't do a lot of tuning here, I've stuck with
what works and haven't investigated more recent versions. If you're
going to send money iZotopes way (the people who make Nectar), be sure
to open a dialogue with them about accessibility, even if it only
serves the purpose of making them aware there's one more user
interested.
Cheers
Scott
