[RWP] buying new audio gear

I'm looking into an external sound blaster. It's about fifty bucks, plugs
into the USB port, has its own asio drivers, and so on. As far as
interfaces, things like the MBox, i don't use anything like that. If I need
two or more inputs at once, I buy a six-dollar headphone splitter. The good
ones, (not the cheap ones from Walmart,) will allow two stereo input signals
no problem. If you need more than two inputs, you'll have to either get a
second splitter or buy a mixer, probably around $100 or so. It just depends
on how advanced you want to get.
