[RWP] a couple questions

It's not that you're using looping wrong at all man, just that we're
using it for different things. I don't do much electronic stuff
nowadays, so if I'm looping a portion of audio it's usually to get a
bunch of takes down without stopping, and that's about as deep as I've
gotten into it. To do that, you specify the start point of the loop
with Alt+[, the end point with Alt+], hit CTRL}R for repeat and you're
good to go. What you're talking about is item based looping, which is
actually a lot more useful, I just don't know the workflow to get it
going off the top of my head. If nobody gets an answer for you by the
time I get home tomorrow though I'll have a tinker and write out some
steps. If you want to experiment with it in the meantime, I think
you'd need to split the portion of audio you want to loop into an
item, then try extending the length in the item properties (Shift+F2).
