Hi Jim, and thanks. Please forgive my nontechnical language.
Starting from the track view press the letter “f” to view the track effects.
Shift tab twice until you get to the tree view and arrow down to the VST plugins, the same problem occurs with the installed JS plugins.
Tab forwards once and you will find yourself in a list of plugins either VST or JS it doesn’t matter. Arrow down these and jaws will always speak the prefix before going on to speak the plugins name. It should read some thing like, “VSTi: ReaSamplOmatic5000 (Cockos)”.
If your able to help it would speed up my ability to brows the large number of plugins that I have.
Thanks for getting back to me about this.

it is probably possible, with a minor amount of scripting.
The pronunciation dictionary, even if it worked, might be a bit heavy handed.
Tell me exactly which dialog you are looking at, and I'll see if there is something easy that can be done.

Can any one tell me if it is possible to prevent jaws from speaking the abbreviation, VST when reading down the list of my VST plugins. It would mean that I could select a plugin more efficiently. Iamb aware of reaper placing plugins in to separate folders but I hoped that this problem may be solved.
Thanks in advance.
