it is probably possible, with a minor amount of scripting.
The  pronunciation dictionary, even if it worked, might be a bit heavy 
handed.
Tell me exactly which dialog you are looking at, and I'll see if there is 
something easy that can be done.

  Can any one tell me if it is possible to prevent jaws from speaking the 
abbreviation, VST when reading down the list of my VST plugins.  It would 
mean that I could select a plugin  more efficiently.  Iamb aware of reaper 
placing plugins in to separate folders but I hoped that this problem may be 
solved.
