Sad to say it, but in my experience Dancing Dots are still the leaders
when it comes to accessible transcription. The product they've built
their scripts around doesn't get wide use at all here in the UK (think
it's got a bit more of a following states side), ties you to JAWS of
course, and will cost you more than a few pretty pennies, but the
scripts they've built seemed pretty solid when last I used them.
Unfortunately even using Sibelius or any scoring package with full
sight, it's rarely as simple as import MIDI and it'll spit out a good
looking score for you, as unless it's been sequenced specifically for
the purpose, things like where note offs have been left and the like
in MIDI that's been played in and left sounding quite human often
aren't what you'd actually write on paper, so there's a bit of
tidying/refinement necessary.
To sum up, it can be done, but a smooth workflow will take some
financial investment and decent transcription knowledge on your part.
Hth a bit
