For reaper on windows questions you are better off addressing the reaper list at large as i am a mac user and don’t use reaper on windows much these days. See below for the rest of the answers

they do work however the keys do tend to get automatically reassigned on windows and don’t alway s map to the same keys. I need to boot up windows and do a proper translation of the keycap… The reason i haven’t is because on windows there is ReaAccess for the blind community so there was no real need for the Keymap on windows.

Look at the quick start tutorial page on www.reaperacc.es. I address this there both for windows with ReaAccess and on the mac with the Ninja KeyMap.

> 3. When adding a track, how can I hear what the synth sounds like before I insert the track? Because there are a lot of different synths and it takes a very long time to hit ctrl applications, i, arrow through to the synth I want, hit enter, tab over to "add", hit enter, and then test it, hit delete to remove it and start all over.
Once again probably something that can be best answered on the ReaAccess list. I don’t use a lot of synth or midi based stuff at all either.

In the column before the list of all the effects you can sort by what you want to see. its on all by default. Shift tab once from the list of effects over to the other column and chang it to just VST or something like that to see just effects when you tab back into the effects list. As tara s unlabeled areas on windows not sure but think windows has some way of labeling and pulling data from the help tags (if there are any) depending on which screen reader you are using. On the mac if you can see the unlabeled button with voice over you can label it if you can have some eyes tell you what the button is. If y the button has whelp tag then you can have VoiceOver speak the help tag and then use that to label the button.
