Hi & Greetings from The Great Southern Land,

Select The Trak that your MIDI items are on (Up & Down Arrows Keys)

Select the Item of MIDI that you wish to Edit ( Control plus Left & Right
Arrows)

Select the Item ( (Shift plus A)

Open the MIDI Editor (Alt plus Control plus E)

My MIDI Editor has always opened showing Bars & Beats etc.

Using SystemAccess the MIDI Events are spoken as:

Event Number , Position , Lenth , Type , Channel , Note Value , Velocity

To Edit any event Select the Event just by moving to it with the Up & Down
Arrows and then use Control plus F2 to open a Dialog to Edit those
parameters.

In this Dialog use the TAB key to cycle through all the parameters, or use
Shift plus TAB to go in Reverse.

I am not sure why your events are showing up as Time but try this:

Select the MIDI Item as above but Do Not Open the MIDI Editor.

Instead press Shift plus F2 to open the Item Parameters Dialog

Press your TAB key four times and it will say TIME.

Use your Down Arrow to Select Beats.

Hit Enter to Escape.

Kind regards
