If you have an apple mouse, you can go to the midi ports and select them and
then VO right arrow to disabled.
Than, what I do is hold down VO and click the apple mouse and a little menu
comes upt with configure midi ports, enable midi ports and I can't remember
what the other thing is, its been a while since I did it.

Subject: [RWP] Enabling midi ports
Thanks for the tips on speeding up Voice-Over with Reaper.
I tried to work with midi today. At the moment I can't find anyway of
enabling my Midi port. I can select it in the table in Preferences, Midi
Devices, but I can't enable it. I press VO-space where it says disabled,
I've tried VO-Shift-M, but nothing. I remember reading that VO-Shift-M isn't
particularly reliable in Reaper so I tried to right click with the trackpad.
I believe you are meant to hold down control while pressing the trackpad.
But it didn't do anything. Nor did holding down command and pressing on the
trackpad.
Any ideas how I can get the midi ports enabled? Otherwise I'll have to just
get someone sighted to do it and hope it stays enabled.
Thanks.
