[RWP] Record inputs menu

OK, so I opened Reaper and inserted ten tracks. Reaper suddenly went a lot
more sluggish, and the layout was a lot more cumbersome, but essentially I
could see the record input menu for every single track.

But it's not quite as simple as that. It doesn't seem plausible to navigate
through tracks using the arrow keys, as it takes too long and the
information can be sporadic and confusing. Instead, I used the item
chooser. Interestingly, I was able to see the record input option for the
first five tracks, but not the next five. Similarly, I was only able to see
the record monitoring button for the last five tracksand not the first
five. However, when I escaped the item chooser and pressed
Options-command-down a few times then went back into the time chooser, I
was able to see the record input menu for the last five tracks, but not the
first five, and similarly the record monitoring button for the first five
but not the last five. Does this make sense, and are you able to recreate
this? If so, it may help us navigate a lot more reliably and quicker.
Thoughts welcome.

On a slightly different topic: I wonder however whether it would be
possible to have a theme for Reaper that is more straight forward, less
visual and more text based. Apparently there are different themes that
people create for Reaper. Might this give us an opportunity to have a more
accessible, straight forward Reaper theme? Also, is there anyway that we
could extend the functionality of the RE-console? This would mean that we
could select record inputs and such using the console.
