[RWP] Can I output and play my Yamaha MX61 library through midi in Reaper?

After some ressearches, there is a VST named ReaControMidi, which allow
in theory to use the midi sound bank of a distant synthetizer. QUotation:
"-- find out from the Yamaha manual the Bank number and Program number
for the voice you want
-- load ReaControlMIDI onto your Reaper track
-- open it, set the MIDI Channel,
-- in the Bank / Program Select section, enable it and type in the Bank
Number (Most Significant Byte, Least Significant Byte) and the Program
Number
-- that will send those MIDI messages to the Yamaha and change the voice
for the subsequent MIDI notes.
Try that out and see how you get on.
----------------------------
Once you have got to grips with that, you could create you own .reaBank
file of Yamaha voice names / program numbers and load that into
ReaControlMIDI (if you click [Load File] you should see a GM.reaBank
file (for General MIDI instruments) - that might be useful.
Or, you can also insert Program Change messages directly into the record
MIDI clip.
Look up ReaControlMIDI and Program Change in the User Guide for mote
details."
What are you thinking about?
Thanks,
Alexis
