Chris, I'm not talking about an extended warrenty, but an original
manufacturer's warrenty, and like I said, It may even have like five months
leftg on it.

I know, you're a piano tuner,
and it takes careful considerate hands to do that.
Anyway,
warranties aren't always cracked up to what the vendors think we should
believe they are.
They charge re-stocking fees, and shipping, and all the extra stuff if
the least little bit is wrong, there are micro-scratches on it from
where the paper wrapping rubbed on it,
anything not to refund you the whole thing.
Even places like sweet-water who go on and on about hot service do that now,
and I suspect it's like that most places now,
because the profit margin is not what it once was since the advent of
the I want it all and a kitchen sink for 99 bucks,
home market,
so by the time you pay shipping and insurance,
going both ways to get something replaced, sometimes if they're nice,
they'll pick up shipping both ways, but you are usually liable for
atleast one way,
so they try and sell you these extended warranties, and even then, watch
it, because
they can find ways to not honor that too, what, you spilled a cup of
cofee in your laptop, we don't have that listed on your covers
everything extended warranty 'grin'.
or we don't deal with that anymore, and you get some third party company
and by the time you got shunted around 3 places, you get some tech
sounds like he is sitting
in his under-wear playing games, and then he'll give you the wrong
instructions.
And then they have the nerve to ask you to fill out a survey just
because they answered the phone politely.
Welcome to the modern world,
grab your back cheeks and a big can of vassoleen, because guess who's
gonna get the shaft?
