Thanks for the helpful info.  Let me introduce myself for those who may 
or may not know me.
My name is Zack, and I'm really glad I subscribed to this list.  I'm 
looking forward to learning to use reaper as many people have told me 
that it is pretty cool, and the asio support is nice, I was blown away 
with that when I tried it a few days ago with my keyboard and a vst plugin.
