[RWP] How to send internal midi sound of keyboard in Reaper.

Maybe you have set up a conflict at which is the midi clock source.
If both the hardware Yamaha keyboard and Reaper are transmitting midi
clock, or both are set to receive midi clock, nothing will happen.
I would go back to Reaper's midi preferences and remove the checks on
the Yamaha's transmitting clock and SPDIF.
Leave use as a midi device checked, and also leave send midi controller
messages checked.
Be sure to click enter on apply and okay when they are offered at the
bottom of the midi device settings list, in preferences.
You can leave reaper as the master clock, and don't need to set the
Yamaha as the midi slave, unless you want the Yamaha to begin playing
its onboard drum patterns when you press play in Reaper.
With both the Yamaha and Reaper as master clocks, the Yamaha will still
receive midi music notes sent from Reaper.
If you want to hear the built-in sounds within the Yamaha keyboard, you
need to point the selected midi track to the Yamaha.
Tab down the options list you get when the Yamaha's track is selected.
Find Midi Output, then arrow up or down to the Yamaha, which should show
up in the list at the arrow keys.
Then be sure to click on enter before exiting that menu.
Now, when you play the midi track it should play the selected onboard
sound within the Yamaha.
You of course need to set the midi channel 1 through 16 so they agree
for the midi track and the Yamaha; , same channel for the midi track and
same channel received by the Yamaha, or set the Yamaha to receive on all
channels; omni; and the midi track on channel 1 or any other midi
channel you prefer.
If anyone on the list knows that particular Yamaha better than me and
it's an exception from typical midi keyboards, please chime in.
