[RWP] USB to SPDIF converter

Oh god, I'm glad someone else besides me and Patrick is chiming in here.

He's been on about this for 2 years, I kid you not, 2 effing years.

I've been gently and yes, I admint not so gently prodding him about actually making some music 
ever since way back oh about 10 years ago when we used to be friends, and in the last couple of years when Indigo put me on his shit list, no thanks for the hours of help I've given him or tried to give him,
and stupid me, but it still hurts my feelings.

I guess I get too invested in people,
but I thought I had a friend and I didn't, but wouldn't you think a guy who's been fussing about with this stuff as long as he has would have a little something to show for it?

I mean everybody doesnt' 
have to be a star,
but you'd think there'd be something.

But I think he just thrives on putting square pegs in to round holes, and just pestering people about impossible or ridiculous issues, and if there are none, he makes them up.

We went through this with ready boost, netbooks, 
you name it,

I got it every day,
help me do this, who won't this work, and my answers were never good enough and when he didn't like it, I was bullying him.

Well, I wonder who was bullying who, and who was stupid to put up with it?

I just wish the old buzzard would talk to me on a public forum like anybody else and be able to take and receive advice, and actually listen when people are telling him the truth about something.

Sheesh.

  This is like taking a bus around town to go visit your next door neighbor instead of just walking next door. Have you actually tried running the Balanced outs into the EMU Balanced ins? Or are you simply avoiding this due to some theory of not drop down to analog to then reconvert back to digital?  In Theory you could make this work but then you would loose using the sound card for windows sounds or screen reader. Unless of course you have a third sound card you could choose in  the screen reader preferences directly. Still will be without windows sound though. Have fun reinventing the wheel man.
