[RWP] USB to SPDIF converter

Hey, I have had difficulty getting my TC Helicon's USB out to go 
intoReaper without stealing my eMu soundcard's asio driver, but I think 
I found another way in.
There are plenty of USB to SPDIF converters available, many Chinese and 
Taiwan models for around $40, up to 192K supposedly high quality audio.
Not much to them, only a single USB 2 port and coaxial or optical SPDIF's.
I could plug the USB from the TC Helicon pedal into the adaptor, then 
connect it's SPDIF's to the SPDIF's on my eMu soundcard.
I believe the audio from the TC Helicon pedal would stay digital all the 
way into Reaper, hopefully with no conversion losses or SPDIF clock issues.
Has anyone here used one of these USB to SPDIF adaptors?
