[RWP] Sforzando Access?

Yes, have been using sfz for years.
This player supports the 2.0 version of the sfz format, which later synths which support sfz use, the only complaint about sforzando is that it doesn't translate sf2 files correctly sometimes, but considering nothing I know of does a perfect job when going cross platform from one format to another, that's par for the course.
It is a good tool.
I tend to use the old cakewalk sfz player to handle sf2 files, and now more and more using the sforzando player to do the later sfz formats.
And learning the code is like anything else,
if you put your mind to it, you can do it.
I didn't find it that difficult, and I'm not exactly a code jockey.
It was meant for reasonably inteligent musicians to
handle, and there is plenty of sfz files around to look at for inspiration and to get an idea of how to get started.
One thing I am looking for is a complete sfz2 manual for the latest opcodes.
We have the one for version 1, but nobody seems to have it all in one place for version 2 unless I've missed something.
But there's a lot of info over on the forum where sforzando is.
I need to get back there and dig around some more.
I found a bunch of sfz files there.

Subject: [RWP] Sforzando Access?
Some folks seem to be using the free Sforzando SFZ player, which seems
to be able to play not only single-sound SFZ files, but multi-samples,
like drum kits.
The website says it will play any acidized .wav files you drop onto it.
I think you can set keyboard zones per sound, so how is Sforzando not a
sample player?
It may not be so easy to use the SFZ code to configure how samples play,
but at least it's in text.
Has anyone here tried it?
Thanks,
Indi
