how long have you had your zoom r16 and were you able to use it at all and
just decided that it wasn't for you?

Welcome to the "RWP" forum,...I understand your situation...

I too have a "zoom r-16,...and, it is currently sitting on the bottom shelf
of one of my computer desks...

In my opinion,...I think reaper is an awesome "DAW",...I'm not sure about
the "synth" you named,...I am using a "Motif SX"...

I also use "System Access",...and, I have found the combination of "Reaper",
and "System Access" to be just what the eye doctor ordered...

I am sure that some of the more knowledgible people on this forum can answer
more of your questions...
