[RWP] new and am considering reaper

Hi,

Welcome to the "RWP" forum,...I understand your situation...

I too have a "zoom r-16,...and, it is currantly sitting on the bottom 
shelf of one of my computer desks...

In my opinion,...I think reaper is an awesome "DAW",...I'm not sure 
about the "synth" you named,...I am using a "Motif SX"...

I also use "System Access",...and, I have found the combination of 
"Reaper", and "System Access" to be just what the eye doctor ordered...

I am sure that some of the more knowledgible people on this forum can 
answer more of your questions...
