[RWP] no audio

Hi all, my problem is this:
First, I am a new user to reaper.  I am running jaws 12.
I am using a delta 1010 with a Mackie 1202 VLZ pro.  I can't seem to get any audio to come from reaper.  
I have tried looking at the master track and the i/o for each track.  Also, I have set the audio device using ctrl-P.  
For anybody who might know, the delta 1010 has a control panel that isn't accessible for jaws.  I am not sure if this is the problem.
I also enabled 1/2 in, and 1/2 out for the delta 1010.  Is there something I am missing in reaper?
Also tried to use another project from the web, but no success!
