I bet this can not be done, since, as far as I know, all reaper audio data
resides in a file on your hard drive.
One thing to know is how to get reaper to discard any files that are not
active items in one track or another. When you do that, if you can figure
out how, you will be throwing away the ability to undo those items.

I think he wants to know if you can bounce your project to a track rather
than out to a file.
You can bounce to a file,
and while you're doing that tell reaper to bounce or render to a track as
part of that dialogue, but he wants to by-pass making the intermediate file.
