[RWP] reaaccess problem - It will not get installed on reaper 32bit, in windows 64bit

I got the clue to set my eMu 1616M's outputs as 15/16 from Sonar, which 
automatically recognized 15/16 as outputs when I installed Sonar 8.5.3.
It let me hear anything playing or input into Sonar, so I've continued 
to use 15/16 as outputs.
In Reaper, outputs 15/16 also works to hear anything played or fed into 
Reaper.

Now, inputs are a different story, one I understand even less.
I am supposed to get 2 microphone XLR jacks, 2 Hi-Z electric guitar 
jacks in the middle of the XLR microphone jacks.
These are both controlled by the same level knobs on the eMu box, so 
those count only as 2 inputs, left and right.
Then on the back of the box I have 4 line level quarter-inch jacks, 
which should show up as left and right 1 plus left and right 2, but I 
can only get left and right 1 to work.
I configured Reaper to use input 1 as first and input 6 as last; hoping 
to include the 2 microphone jacks and both sets of line level inputs; 
but nothing I do seems to let me hear anything plugged into that second 
set of line level jacks.
I know the problem must be in PatchMix, which I can't access.

I tried using the session template marked all inputs and outputs, which 
made no difference.
So, I seem to be limited to 2 microphones; or; 2 electric guitar jacks, 
plus 2 line-level input jacks.
A friend sent me a session template file that allowed all the inputs on 
his eMu 1820 card to work, but it seems not to help to get that second 
set of line level jacks to work on my 1616M
As beautiful as it sounds, to me; this eMu card is like an enigma hidden 
inside a mystery hidden inside a riddle.
I believe even Steven Hawking or Bill Gates couldn't puzzle it out!
