Hadi, I love the sound of my eMu 1616M, but I sure don't love it's
problems, just use it anyway.
In Reaper's preferences, I set input 1 as the first, and input 6 as the
last.
For outputs, I set 15 as the first and 16 as the last.
this is the only way I get mine to work properly.
Here are links to download the proper 64-bit driver, and link to the
proper PatchMix driver.
Of course, install the driver first, reboot, then install PatchMix.
Below the links, I'll talk about how I set the default session file for
PatchMix, which you probably already know
Here are the links, hope they are active:

Use the 2.30 beta driver (EmuPMX_PCDrv_US_2_30_00_BETA.exe)
http://support.creative.com/downloads/download.aspx?nDownloadId=11913
2.20 app/PatchMix (EmuPMX_PCApp_US_2_20_00.exe)!

Hadi, to choose a session template, I go to C:\Program Files\Creative
Professional\
and arrow to the program itself, open that and go to session templates,
and arrow through all those session templates until I find the factory
default one for the one that is for my card and the bit rate I'm
recording at.
I press enter on it, which actually results in it being chosen, although
it doesn't appear to have worked, it actually does.
To escape from PatchMix I need to hit alt+f4.

Man, I've intended to find a way to configure PatchMix, but my sighted
wife can't make heads or tails of that confusing mess of numbers in
PatchMix, so I just use the factory default session template.
Actually we can delete all those extra session templates for cards we
don't have, like the ones for 0404, 1818, etcetera, which makes it
easier to find the ones for our particular card.
It's a great-sounding card, but a crappy company, with horrible support.
Hope these drivers work for you, the forums say they will work for
either the PCI or PCIE cards, don't know how that could be, but there's
no choice other than these Windows 7 64 bit drivers.
Good luck,
Indi
