[RWP] Weird laggy performance issue

I'd imagine you must be able to disabled delay compensation yeah, but
could I find a setting for that earlier? Could I buggery. It'll be
discovered tomorrow when I don't need it, and then promptly forgotten
about by the time I remember to open that dodgy project and try it out
lol.
