Sfz uses a text format opcodes to control sample playback and make
layers, splits or what have you and sforzando
is the best one for reaper.
It supports the 2.0 format.
If you want to use the older sfz player, I have created an ahk script
which works with later versions of reaper, with the separate vst window,
I think gn luca has done one for ealier versions.
My tool is over on steve spamer's site.
vipaccess.org or something like that you'd think as many times as he's
posted it I'd remember.
Well, that's what happens when you get old and decrepid.
But seriously, sfz is a great open source sample manipulation and
playback system, very flexible and powerful and more importantly,
accessible.
