[RWP] triggering samples with rea samplematic?

hey all i've just got a new midi controller its very good and the link is below:

I'm trying to trigger wave samples in rea samplermatic, I've loaded them in, and I know the midi channel and note number i need to use to trigger the sample. 

My controller works with standard reaper actions 

So i don't know what's going on. 

your help with this problem would be most welcome kind regards trey.
