Hello,
This link may help get you started.
http://www.reaperacc.es/quick_start.html
To play audio in a loop, once you have a selection made i believe in windows with reaches you press control+R to turn repeat mode on, which plays the selection repeated or “looped”.
Reaper ask if yo want to save or delete the recording every tie you stop recording, i believe its on the save or keep option by default so you can just press enter. There is a way to turn this off but can’t remember how to do it at the moment.
using folders
put a blank track above the first track in the folder and click the folder button on that track tip it says folder track, then navigate to the last track you want to have in that folder and click the folder button till it says last track in folder. You can use up and own arrows to navigate through the track list. Once you have the folder created any effect you add to the folder track all the tracks in that folder will be effected by. if you need to edit an individual track in that folder, just navigate to the track with the up and down arrow and edit it as you would normally.
