[RWP] slaving external sequencer to Reaper's clock

Hi all:

Today, I attempted, and succeeded, to sync my Ensoniq TS-12's built-in sequencer to Reaper's midi clock, with MTC. Reaper is the master clock, and my Ensoniq TS-12 is the slave. However, there is some latency between when Reaper sends out MTC and the sequencer starts playing. Probably about 50MS or so. So, the audio is always way ahead of the sequencer. I found some boxes that look like they are supposed to do midi offset latency stuff, played with numbers, and never got anywhere. Unchecked boxes for reset pitch and a couple of other things, which also didn't do much. I can manually comp for latency after recording, but I'd rather not do that if I didn't have to. This is old midi gear from 1993, so there are no latency options as there are for some newer stuff. Anyone have ideas?
