I'm gonna get the Roger Linn Adrenalinn 3 pedal, because it's the
> sweetest sounding one I might be able to afford.
> With its 32 step arpeggio sequencer it's an idea box, as well as an amp
> and cab modeler.
> I love the presets I've heard.
> Its drums are typical Linn Drum sounds, always the softest sweetest
> percussion to my ears, since way back when Roger Linn invented one of
> the first drum machines.
> You can resequence the adrenalinn 3's drum patterns, and drums can be
> triggered from midi.
> I'm only worried about access, with menus and only 4 knobs, but it does
> at least have inc dec buttons.
> At $400 with midi in, 2 jacks for pedals, free serial number for the
> $99 software version, plus you can add a midi foot controller to it to tweak
> values on the fly, I should at least have some fun with it.
> For $40, you can get a Sound Tower editor for it.
> Does anyone here have experience with Sound Tower editors, how
> accessible are they?
> I notice mention of graphical this and that, in the Sound Tower editor
> for PC; but at least cut and paste is implemented along with drag/drop;
> offering a tiny ray of hope in that.
> When saving a tweak, the pedal beeps when save is complete.
> Now, if it's possible to find an empty memory slot without overwriting
> an already used slot, that will go a long way toward access.
> Has anyone here used the AdrenaLinn 3 electric guitar pedal; or tried one in a shop; or tried
> any Sound Tower editor for other hardware?
> Thanks,
> Indi
