[RWP] Creating functions?

It sounds like what you are looking to do is create a custom action. You can say create new actions as in add functionality that isn't there yet, sans having doe programming chops perhaps. What you can however do is chain to gather actions that are already available to you. for example I have one that will set the end point and automatically select all items on selected track in time selection with just one keystroke. Sorry i am on the mac so can't give you reaaccess keyboard shortcuts and windows screen reader specific directions, but the basic just is this. Bring up the actions list, navigate to where it says custom action and click the new button. You will then get an empty box to the right of a box with all your available actions in it. An edit field to name the action and an edit field to search through the available actions so u don't have to scroll through that massive list. Find the actions u want and move them into the empty box in the order in which you want the actions performed. once done, navigate to where you can assign a keyboard shortcut and choose whether it shows up in the regular actions list or not. Search the group for custom actions as i did a fairly long and more in-depth write up on this a couple months ago.

I am tryinng to cut down on the keystrokes. I think Keven Reeves was asking something like this a while back, but I don't remember if anyone came up with anything. lol. I think that was the three that got kind of long. I do remember something like that though. I was just wondering how easy or hard it is to create custom functions? Thanks for any help…
