[RWP] a sfz for reaper autohotkey script

I am led to believe that even in 64 bit versions, you'll still get a bridged mode.

I don't think that's possible in reaper 3.78.

I tried in native mode and I could be missing something too, but I couldn't get cordinates to stay consistant,
the sfz window becomes part of the reaper
ui, and even when I got cordinates using jaws ocr to find controls to activate, and put them in an ahk scripts, they didn't translate wel.

But if you've found a good way to make this work in 3.78, have some tricks and such, then that's great.

Problem is that is we don't standardize on something it'l be a mess for folks trying to take advantage of everything.

I didn't want to get away fron 5.78 because of the tight integration with reaccess, but I thought after talking with Steve and he's done a lot of this,
for some pretty serious plugs,
and I have my sessiondrummer 3 which I'd like to port over too sometime without having to do the work all over again,
and other plugs, going the bridged mode,
with dedicated process, we can apply an offset and make stuff work.

So that's why I did it, to be a team player.

Jim's made a conversion tool apparently,
and even though I'm using ahk, the same principals apply when it comes to screen-scraping you have to have your cordinates matching up and a consistant interface.

It's very much like when we went from sonar 5 to 6, the vst window changed,
but that was about the tine hsc had become really popular and useable so not a lot was broken,
so doing it for the later vst implementation probably future proofs us a bit.

But people still using 3.78 can use your option, and I'd love to if I could get the 32 bit version,
or the source code which I could port over.

It's every man's choice whether he includes it or not, but in my free products, I'm including the source code so people can adjust as needed.
if they want to take the time to learn the tools.

  Hi Chris and list,
The main reason I'm using native mode is because I'm on reaper 3.78 most of the time and as far as I know there is no way I could get to the bridged window, unless using for example a 32 bit plug in a 64 bit version of reaper.
If I'm missing something here, please tell me.

It's no different than the hsc stuff, the keys are only active in the window your in.

But that's the reason I included the source code so people could change hotkeys if they liked.

Also you have the ability to use hot strings, read the readme that comes with it.

Your big problem will be using 3.78 of reaper,
which I thought long and hard before deciding to go the route of the other devs doung the bridged window and plug-in in dedicated process.

It just renders a more consistant interface,
    than native mode,
and it's kind of like what we had to do when abandoning sonar 4 and 5 at version 6 they changed the vst interface, for the better
     I thought,
but gn luca is still using the native mode but he's the only one I think.
All of us who do some dev work are standardizing as much as we can on the interface choices which makes it easier for all of us, Steve's got a lot invested in this,
I'm fiddling about now and then, don't want to access dev all the time,
but I feel like I should go with the tide and make my stuff compatible with what's working the best.

Anyway, for those who want to use it, and who can use a later version of reaper, this will take up the slack for non-jaws users.
Others can find their own way, like I stated, this is offered as is, without any warranty that it'll work for your needs,
I'm always open to do further work if something is tossed at paypal, but
this is a labor of love and my contribution to the reaper community at large.

So what happens with all of the windows shortcut keys that begin with control alt? I know that control alt a opens my winamp control alt m opens my messenger, and so on. I have a feeling that this is not going to work out for me.
