[RWP] Does Anyone Know How to Set Up Reaper to Capture Audio From YouTubes?

I have Total Recorder and another one, but neither are on this online 64
bit machine at the moment, and I want to record some audio from a YouTube.
Most of the free audio capture recorders are either inaccessible or a
trap for installing crapware.
Reaper should do it.
I tried inserting a track.
Then I went to options/preferences and selected the RealTech speakers of
the built-in soundcard, which is what I listen to speech on, and what I
use to listen to YouTubes on this 64 bit online machine.
I tried both direct out and wave out as drivers, even saw Audio Capture
driver shown once, but no joy.
I armed the track, selected input as the recording mode, hit enter

I did the ctrl+up arrow fix, pressed the applications key, select record
stereo, hit enter and was shown audio left and right, which seems
correct; hit enter and went back to track view.
I pressed R and it was definitely recording, but when I pressed some
nonsense keys in NVDA that wouldn't disturb the recording, I couldn't
hear the screenreader's speech on playback, and I think I should have.

I know people use other programs, like Audacity, to record streaming
audio, and reaper should also.
Any tips anyone?
Thanks,
Indi
