Hi Jean-Philippe,
Welcome aboard.
We'll help all we can with any issues you may have with reaper.
There's no user manual for non-visual use so far, but just tell us how
far into reaper you are and we'll know what to help with.
Reaper records anything, same as all daws, has plenty of shortcuts, has
a few work arounds required as newer versions have broken access, but no
issues we can't handle so far.
At least it's still being developed, and if we join the Cockos forums
and make our needs known to the developers, we can get the changes we need.
The developers actually hang out in the forums, and you can chat
directly with them about issues.

Reaper is extremely efficient in its use of CPU power.
My second generation I7 barely knows anything is running with a fat
Reaper project going.
I work simply, but, so far, haven't found anything I can't do.
