[RWP] Any Android Users Here?

I have a regular USB keyboard plugged into the micro USB connector on my
Lenovo A 1000 tablet, which works well both to type and to navigate
around the tablet, but I'm trying to get hold of some shortcuts.
Okay, some are standard, like ctrl+c for copy, ctrl+x for cut; ctrl+v
for paste.
I learn that the shortcuts that call for the menu key as a modifier are
referring to the key to the right of the alt key; which is what I call
the applications key.
Apparently that key plus a letter works in android.
Now, there are more shortcuts like:
Home + B (or Search + B) = open browser
Home + C (or Search + C) = open contacts
Home + L = open calendar
Could they be referring to the ordinary home key; the one usually next
to the end key; that takes you to the beginning of a document, or, in
Reaper, takes you to the beginning of the project timeline?
I tried some of these shortcut combinations without effect.
Maybe there's another key android is calling the home key?
Also, sometimes they list Search plus an alphabet letter.
I'm trying to learn what they mean by search.
I can't even imagine what key that is.
In a few cases they use the FN key.
I had a netbook once, so know that FN keys come on some laptops and
netbooks, to dim or brighten the screen, etcetera; but not on standard
keyboards.
I'm going to buy a tablet case with built-in small USB keyboard,
intended for use on android tablets, so I hope to get some of these keys
I don't have; or, if I have them on this standard USB keyboard I don't
know where they are.
Any clues, anyone?
Thanks,
Indi
