Have you tried making a portable version of one that works on another
machine, or is that the issue? Same configuration and all that, and
still nothing interesting?
By the way, my only machine for the next couple of months is a mid-2011
bootcamped MacBook Air. It's dual core I7 processor runs about as fast
as my now dead Intel Core2Quad Q9300 from 2008. Not particularly slow,
but when I remember the speed of my Core I7 3770K at home, it seems that
way.
