[RWP] hello I am a new member.

The notorious PC hardware differences at work.
I have 2 decent computers side by side, one offline for recording, and
this cheap Acer AMD desktop for online.
TC Helicon's software to update the firmware on their pedals absolutely
refused to work on this machine, but worked flawlessly when I gave up
and tried it on the normally offline machine, an Intel i7.
Helicon says their software will work on 1 mac laptop and not another,
though they are exactly the same model laptop, so macs must also suffer
from slight hardware differences.
