That part works; what doesn't is the menu where you assign tracks to sends. 
You can create the send a different way, but I then couldn't access the 
routing matrix. If you make a lot of them, the only way I've found to delete 
them involves going from the bottom up, one at a time. Which is obviously 
problematic for a number of reasons. That might not be something he cares 
about, but the point is I have to teach the thing, and if everyone isn't 
running alternate versions people get confuzzled. Reaaccess was written for 
3.X, so until Ivan gets released from the gulag or whatever that's kind of 
where it's at. I'm actually looking to compile a complete list of things 
that are different in 4 VS. 3 and how to get around what is changed if 
necessary, so hopefully this thread can do that. For instance, I haven't 
used the MIDI editor in 4 because I haven't had any to experiment with. How 
accessible is it?
