In fact, just grab all of the jb effects.
They have anything from tape emulators to various compressors, all free, and 
most very awesome.

Another good free reverb plugin is Omniverb from JB. It ends up on a lot
of my projects when I just want something that works. I like it a bit
better than the Kjaerhus classic reverb, but that's just me. Both are
worth using.
