Hi John,
I love odd instruments, so ramble on with me.
I used to play Jew's Harp, until I had to have my teeth crowned, so now
I don't risk thousand dollar crowns with that spring steel tine on the
Jew's Harp.
I mean one day to reinvent the Jew's Harp by placing it inside a tube
with the tip of the tine going out through a slot in the side of the
tube, but I doubt it could be as resonant when it doesn't vibrate the
teeth directly.
I love blowing all kinds of flutes, and try getting notes out of almost
any tube I pick up, except nasty plumbing pipes I've been working on
this week.
I'll twang on anything, my favorite being a couple of rubber bands
across a cardboard box, but I do twang on a couple of guitars as well.
i sometimes blow amplified harmonica, saxes of various kinds, alto,
tenor, C Melody, and input midi data from various midi keyboards.
I said input so no one would think I'm a keyboardist.
